DJ Title: HARRY J Show title: Dancehall Days and Rock and Roll Nights Location: London UK Growing up through the 50’s and early 60’s and going to many Dance Clubs and Live Events, I’ve always been into my music. Having elder siblings, two of which were in Germany in ’57 – ’58 in the army, they brought back plenty of records from the States which I played over and over, listening to the greats like Jerry Lee, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Elvis. This is where I picked up, what is now my signature tune, Tommy Edwards, my final track at all my gigs. For the past twenty odd years I have been running and working at many Rock n Roll clubs in the West London area, always either DJ'ing , supporting Live Bands or teaching 50's Jive or a combination of all.My music taste is very open, from 40's/50's Rhythm & Blues , Rock n Roll, Rockabilly to 60's Tamla, Atlantic Soul, Ska and Northern Soul.
